Narrow Gate Angus

This is our latest pride and joy!  This is a Ford 641 tractor.  Jay's dad bought this brand new in 1959 and it is still in the family today.  It needed a lot of work when I got it home from my brother so i had Steven Young (in Bartlesville, OK) completely go through the tractor and repaint to original.  It is gorgeous and will not see much use at least for a few years.  It is in our garage for viewing if you want to stop by for a cup of coffee and we can uncover it and talk about the good old days in the hay field with a 7' sickle mower. Thanks Steve for the bucket list item completed!  

Here is Lucy, she is a rescue dog we got as a puppy in 2017.  She loves to run and chase rabbits as well as jump all over the hay, both in the barn and outside.  She is our "Queen of the Mountain"!  Stop by and visit her anytime.  She loves the company and walking through the cattle pens with anyone. 

This picture is special to us as a family.  The bull in this picture is of our past herd bull Ankonian Ayres 302.  The gentleman is a retired veterinarian in the picture is a true, gentle man.  That is Charlie Clinkenbeard of rural Bartlesville, OK.  Charlie purchased "Alfred" this past spring from us to breed a set of commercial cows.  Charlie and Alfred have a great relationship!  It took Charlie a little time to realize that if Alfred saw him anywhere in the pasture or barn, here he would come sneaking up on Charlie to get a few pieces of cake or a rubbing around his ears and neck. Here is Alfred taking a piece of cake out of Charlie's mouth!  They make a great pair and we are fortunate to see both of them frequently!
